Exam & Certifications
Hana Korean has partnered with the Lingo School of Knowledge to offer CEFR test certifications for students who want to assess their language skills. The Lingo School of Knowledge serves as the official test centre for MCYS and MFA officers, which means our certificates and reports are recognised in Singapore.
If you plan to travel to Korea for work or residency, it is essential to take the TOPIK test, which is acknowledged in Korea. The TOPIK test is conducted twice a year in Singapore. Additionally, to study at a recognized university in Korea, you are required to obtain at least a TOPIK level 4 certification. While the TOPIK test is not mandatory for working in Korea, and many Koreans may not be familiar with it since they do not need to take it, we always advise students to aim for at least a C1 level in Korean.
